Bibbit

How Bibbit works

From connecting your gallery to a runner finding every photo of themselves — the whole workflow in six steps.

1

Connect your gallery account

Link SmugMug in one click of OAuth or sign in with Zenfolio. Multiple accounts per host are fine — every connection shows up in one picker.

2

Create an event and add galleries

Group the day's albums under one event and upload a bib, name roster CSV if you have one. The roster is what turns detected numbers into runner names.

3

Bibbit scans in the background

Every photo is fetched, scanned for bib plates and faces, then discarded — Bibbit keeps results, never your files. Come back to detected bibs matched against your roster and faces grouped by runner.

4

Review and approve

Walk the results photo by photo: approve correct bibs, fix or reject wrong ones, resolve the face groups the AI couldn't. You stay the editor; the AI is just fast.

Sync keywords to your gallery

Push approved results to SmugMug or Zenfolio as searchable keywords — one click, or automatically as you review. Existing keywords are never overwritten, and CSV/JSON export is always there.

6

Runners find themselves

Participants search your gallery by their bib number, exactly where you sent them. Every photo they appear in — bib visible or face-matched — is one search away.

Built to keep your photos yours

  • Photos never leave your gallery host — they're processed transiently and discarded.
  • Gallery credentials are stored encrypted and can be disconnected at any time.
  • Face data is used only to group photos within your own galleries, and is deleted with the scan.

The details live in our privacy policy.
